Tomorrow I'm
going to take my new fins out for a swim. I am really looking forward to
testing them out. The reason I am looking forward to this is because of my
Michigan trip two years ago. I was at Wakely Lake in Michigan, and I had some
mobility issues.
I know that
part of my issues where from the amount of wind coming out of the North Blowing
about 10 to 15 knots. I was being pushed to the shore and could not make any
headway out into the open water. Here we go still water fishing part two. I'm
headed to fish in one or two remote ponds. Because of the sensitivity of these
types of fisheries I will not be disclosing the area. I will be talking about
them using the region only.
I have a few
friends that I have developed tight relationships with. Out of respect for my
friends and the fishery I will NOT be spot burning period. Back to the fins
that I purchased. I picked up a pair of Pro Force Fin flippers. I have been
told good things about these. I am excited to give these a shot!
Here is my
Force Fin Pro product review
Here is a
link to their website and before you fine folks go off the deep end. I do not have any affiliations
with said company. Well, I am impressed for several reasons with these fins. I
went out just a short bit ago to a wide-open lake. It is gusting up to 14 mph and
I did well in-between gusts. The design really does move the water well and displaces
water well with both upward stroke and downward strokes. To also put this in
perspective I am 5’9” and 200 pounds and moved around well.
These fins
are worth every penny IMHO.
