What the Buck!

 

I would go to the one Lake Erie tributary to practise my two handed rod casting stroke. I saw my first non typical deer. I did also spook a very irritated 8 point on the opposite river bank he snorted at me to the point I could see snot running from his nose.

I would use my Scott L2H1157/4 I have it lined with two lines one line is the SA Spey Freightliner Skagit F “Floating” 440 Grain and the other line is SA Mastery Anadro WF10-F it has a grain weight window of 355 Grain. I new I would not see a fish or hook a fish but I remained hopefull. I arrived at the first spot and walked to the river and saw the fog dancing across its surface. I used one pattern all day a nice tube fly that you will see in the photos down below.
